Welcome to Perfect Cats-Himalayans! We are a small cattery located in Austin, Texas. My husband Chad and I have been married for 10 years. We are truly blessed to have found that special person we could continue to grow more and more in love with over the years. We now have three little boys: Colton, Conner, and Cody. We started our cattery in 2008 when we tried to find a Himalayan kitten for the boys to love. I had grown up with the breed, and had absolutely fallen in love with their fearless, loving personalities. I decided I wanted to share that joy with my little boys. That simple idea turned into a nightmare trying to find a quality Himalayan kitten. We had such a hard time finding a healthy, pure blooded Himalayan. We had to look far and wide for our kittens. We realized that too many breeders were breeding a lot of unhealthy, mixed blooded, long haired cats and calling them Himalayans. We decided we wanted to help improve the breed, and introduce people to true Himalayan-Persians. Since that point we have continued to live up to our reputation of CATTERY OF EXCELLENCE, and introduce families to our Grand Champion parents and their amazing kittens! 

Perfect Cats is a very small cattery that breeds to produce the most outstanding kittens we can to show. We do occasionally offer kittens to approved people on our Reservation List. We are Vet checked annually and have consistently received the highest environment award that CFA offers, that of CATTERY OF EXCELLENCE! We specialize in beautiful, loving, show quality Himalayan-Persian Kittens. We proudly offer a 5 generation pedigree for all of our kittens. They are our babies, and part of the family. We let all of our kittens run and play with our three boys, and our husky Kiera. Our Himalayan-Persian kittens are all pre-spoiled and ready for their permanent homes.

Our kittens are reserved for approved people on our Reservation List. If you would like to be added to our Reservation List please email me. Pictures are updated weekly, and we do at least one video, until our kittens can go to their forever homes around 10-14 weeks as part of our new adoption program! Persians mature much slower than your regular domestic cat. You want to make sure your kittens immune system is fully functioning before taking them home!

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE LYSOL PRODUCTS AROUND CATS.  IT IS TOXIC. IF YOU HAVE TO USE BLEACH MAKE SURE YOU DILUTE IT AS PER THE INSTRUCTIONS, AND ONLY IF THE KITTEN IS IN ANOTHER ROOM UNTIL ALL SURFACES ARE COMPLETELY DRY. 

DO NOT GIVE OUR KITTENS THE FIP VACCINE. THIS WILL VOID YOUR GUARANTEE!

-All our cats have tested negative for FELV, FIV, PKD, and have their health records and DNA tests to prove it. We offer two year health guarantees for all our kittens. We are that confident. We are vet inspected annually and have consistently received the highest environment award that CFA offers, that of CATTERY OF EXCELLENCE. Every kitten will have been vet checked, and had age appropriate shots before leaving for it's new home. Vet paperwork is provided.

We absolutely recommend Dr. Elsey's Cat Attract cat litter for your kitten. This can be bought at Petsmart/Petco.  Many of you have asked what kind of food we use, and why. We use Instinct by Nature's Variety canned and dry food.  When reading the ingredients in a cat food you want to see things like chicken, liver, beef, fish, etc. NOT corn, soy, rice, wheat etc.  You also want a food that is high in protein and moisture. Instinct had the highest percentage in the foods I researched, and produces great results. This food can now be found at Petco.

Our pedigrees include generations of National and International Winners, Regional Winners, Grand Champions, and Distinguished Merits out of prestigious bloodlines such as: Prancenpaws, KittyCharm, Twinshire, Cacao, Playwickey, Teah's, IntheWind, Jolee, Demiara's, Sulltan's, Oakheaven, CattleyCrue, Brannaway,  and Callyn's.
